What do I do if I think my Piin account has been hacked?
If you believe that your Piin account has been compromised, there are a few security precautions that we recommend. Please see the steps below, depending on your method of sign-in.
- Facebook – We recommend that you update your Facebook password immediately. Additionally, please log out of any active sessions using your Facebook profile by following the steps on Facebook.com
- Linkdin – We recommend that you update your Linkdin password immediately. Additionally, please log out of any active sessions using your Linkdin profile by following the steps on Linkdin.com
- Google – We recommend that you update your Google password immediately. Additionally, please log out of any active sessions using your Google profile by following the steps via Chrome.
- Phone number – If you sign into Piin with your phone number we recommend that you update your password immediately with these steps:
- Log out of Piin. Go to your Profile, Select ‘Settings’, Select ‘Log Out’
- Type in your User Name
- Instead of typing in your password, tap “Forgotten Password”
- Follow the prompts to reset your password
